4th Meeting in Lithuania
17 – 24 of October 2009 in Zokniai Basic School - Siauliai
The fourth meeting in Lithuania was successful. The Lithuanian school “Zokniai Basic School “ in Siauliai” organized the whole program successfully and we followed it absolutely. We are thankful to Ms. ASTA JONISKIENE the coordinator, Ms. EVELINA AKSOMAITIENE the assistant coordinator, the Director Ms. SVETLANA GINIOTIENE and the whole Comenius team for their perfect work as far as all the participants and the children is concerned.
RESULTS of the 4th Meeting in Lithuania

- During the meeting in Lithuania, we went a lot of trips in the city to Ch. Frenkel vila, Museum of Bicycles, Sun’s Watch, Cathedral, by bus to Birzai castle, Kernave area, Trakai, Vilnius, Gruzdziai, Kursenai, Hill of Crosses and Franciscan Monastery. We also visited the library of Siauliai University and the pedagogical department of the university.
- Workshop No 1 – We presented and discussed about the films – legends processing. We discussed about the feedback of the legends.

Workshop No 2 – Project meeting for teachers and students (Presentation of herbarium)
· Workshop No 3 – Project meeting for teachers (planning the next teachers’ exchanges and the meeting in Germany as well).
· We will present all the herbariums to our pupils in each school and we will discuss with our students about: similarities, common plants we saw in the herbariums, common plants which we saw in other herbariums and which we had not in ours but there are in our regions. At last, we will ask if anyone has a plant that doesn’t exist in our country and we could bring it in the Germany meeting. Please send by e-mail the power point presentation with your herbarium till 6th of November 2009 to all the partners.
· We will create one Recipe: a whole meal (salad or soup, main meal, dessert or fruit). The meal could contain potatoes, milk, cheese, tomatoes (not pork). We have to present it in power point, and also create illustrated cards A6 (4 cards by a A4 page) with 5 proverbs and 5 riddles or metaphors.
· We will have to cook the meal in Germany. So, you can bring with you any ingredient you like or you can buy everything from Germany.
In Germany: We will meet first in Düsseldorf and we will visit a zoo park. The dates will be announced shortly.
