5th Meeting in Germany
20 – 27 of March 2010 in Liebfrauen Realschule - Nottuln
The fifth meeting in Germany was successful too. The German school “Liebfrauen Realschule “ in Nottuln” organized the whole program successfully and we followed it absolutely. We are thankful to Ms. SUSANA MARTINS and Mr. RUDOLF SEGBERT the coordinators, the Director Mr. ULRICH SUTTRUP and the whole Comenius team for their perfect work as far as all the participants and the children is concerned.
RESULTS of the 5th Meeting in Germany

- During the meeting in Germany, we went a lot of trips. We had a guided tour in Düsseldorf. On the way to Nottuln we stopped at Oberhausen (one of the European Capitals of Culture in 2010) and went by an exhibition about the solar system and our space system. We visited the famous All-weather Zoo, a great school and we had a guided tour in Münster, we visited Cologne and the famous cathedral. we had the opportunity to visit the open air museum in Münster and enjoy the German - Westphalia traditions.
- Workshop No 1 – We presented and discussed about the herbarium processing. We discussed about the feedback of the herbariums.

Workshop No 2 – We presented for teachers and students meals from all the participant countries and then we cooked all the above in the school kitchen and taste it. We created illustrated cards A6 with 5 proverbs and 5 riddles or metaphors.
· Workshop No 3 - We discussed about the final report and the final products.
· Workshop No 4 - Project meeting for teachers (planning the next and final meeting in Greece as well).
· We will present our project (the coordinating school) and the partners their countries and school in short (10 min). etc
· We will bring each partner something (can be a poster) from our country to include it in the Comenius project exhibition in Greece (it could be anything popular - famous - tradition from our country). This must be in 6 copies (something like the posters from Germany).
· The cards with riddles and proverbs we have from all the partners we will show to our students and we let them play with it. Then we will ask them what they understood and if they have questions. The results from the games we will write on a page from a word document and will bring it in meeting in Greece.
· We will ask our students how they liked all the films (film 1st, a day of a pupil, 2nd film a legend), the cards with the words from our dictionary, the cards with the riddles and proverbs, the herbariums etc, and we will write all this on a page from a word document and will bring it in meeting in Greece.
· Finally we will prepare a game and a dance from our country – region and we will show it during the meeting in Greece with our children to all the students. We will write on a page from a word document the steps and will explain there the game and the dance. Some of the partners can use a DVD for showing the games and the dances because they will not have children as well.
· We have to discuss about the final product, the DVD will prepare the Greek school of Mesimeri and the final report for our project.
