The association "Lieporių mokyklos bendruomene" organized a Contest of pupils 13-14 age, "What do you know about Greece". This contest realized 08 of May 2008, because the Day of Europe, and like a part of the project "Greek days in Siauliai". A power point presentation HERE. There took part 6 teams from different schools of Siauliai. The participants of contest answered to different questions about culture, literature, geography, history of Greece. And created small poems used Greek words. At last the dance and song groups from Lieporiu secondary school made a show of Greek dances 'Kalamatjanos" and “Syrtaki”, and song songs “Ta pedia tou Peiraia”, and some songs of Helena Paparizou. The organizers gave gifts for pupils and teachers, who prepared teams for contest. It was really nice experience to know better Greece. + photogallery 15
December 2007 - January 2008
Three people from our association were in Baltic countries from 27th of Dec. 2007 till 4th of Jan. 2008 in Lithuania - Šiauliai, Latvia - Riga and Estonia - Tartu.
We had the opportunity to present in Šiauliai our new book "Lithuanian - Greek dialogues". A common work between our association and the "LIEPORIŲ MOKYKLOS BENDRUOMENĖ" + photogallery 14

From 18 till 23 of November of 2007 we had the opportunity to host works from Lithuania in Edessa – North Greece! + photogallery 13
September 2007
From 16 till 21 September of 2007, came to Greece 26 teachers from Estonia in the frame of the prokject of the Educational Programmes Centre of Non-Estonian Integration Foundation in collaboration with the Estonian Educational and Science Ministry and made meetings and visits in several schools in North Greece Edessa and Thessaloniki about the educational system and the imigrands.+ photogallery 12

December 2006
Our association is going to start a Socrates-Grundtvig 2 project in collaboration with Institutions from Baltic Countries.
We are organizing a preparatory meeting in Edessa - North Greece from 2nd till 7th of December 2006. You can see the program of the meeting HERE. And here THE RESULTS
OCTOBER - NOVEMBER 2006
From 28th October till 4th November the Estonian folkdance group "Segapidi" and teachers of West- Viru county visited Greece. There were different activities.
